very little :( i am so so sick of sanding! put 3 coats of paint the first go around and rubbed through in a few spots. so sand it all down with 600 then 3 more coats with the last coat 50/50 paint and clear mixed. lots of runs and dust this time o[ anyhow here are some pics of b4 and after cut & buff. 1st pic is deck lid after the paint went on. 2nd is fender after sanding and buffing before polish, and the last is the roof after polishing. turned out nice

I don't think there's a person on the planet who enjoys sanding :p But like they say, the more you put into it, the better it's going to look in the end, and that's sure paid off here, looking great :)

As for sanding, I think of it more as sculpting. When you're sanding throughout ALL the phases: the bodywork; the surfacing; the paint prep and the final cut and buff, you're "sculpting" the final result that everyone sees. It's worth it to "get into it" and enjoy. I do...
