Geeez.......If you have a "Flaming River" coupler and shaft kit to convert your power steering to manual on an early A Body; could ya please post pics of your conversion? I'm not keeping my column shift, and need to see how it connects at the stock shaft where it intersects with the Flaming River shaft. They have a narrative instruction sheet and I'm just not getting it I guess. The pin in the end of the shaft doesn't come out? (or does it?)

Thanks guys. I was hopin it wouldn't have to; but now that I have the whole column out; I might be able to push it out with a vice. I couldn't budge it with a "C" clamp when it was in the car.

OK; I still can't get the pin out. Is there any reason I couldn't cut it off and drill it out? The new shaft slips over it anyway.
(by the way; I bought some precision calipers to make sure I had the right end I was trying to force out)
