Hey guys I have a strange bracing system around the MC on my Dart. I highly doubt there factory but they are nicely made & have been there for quite some time. Was intrested to see if you guys think of them & weather I shuld put them back in process of painting the engine bay & onverting to a dual bale master. It is a factory 273 HP / 4 Speed Car

Interesting. I don't think they are factory. I know that If you plan on tti or doug's headers they will have to come off. I wonder why they were added. Is the cowl area rusted? ???

Yea I never thought they were factory, The car has its share of rust but the firewall & Cowl are clean. Why would they need to go for Doug's they sit up pretty high & are all over the sering colum ?

That is exactly what those braces are for. I have to make one for my car soon. -o
