Hey everyone,

i am a newby here and really enjoy the site. I just got a '68 dart and i am wanting to build a S/S clone. I am needing any info i can get. i have been collecting pictures for a while but I would really like to get a template for the rear wheel well openings. if anyone has info on where i could get these and the correct way to do the modification i would really appreciate it.

Thanks again,
Robert

yeah, it will be slow going on my build. the teardown is going pretty good. my boys like to get down on the floor and crawl around and get dirty. i just have to bust some of the bolts loose for them and they take care of the rest. oldest is 9 and his little brother is 6, about the same age i started helping my dad on his 340 duster, which is where it all started the madness for me.

Cherish the moments! My granddaughter is 5, I don't know where the time goes. When my daughters were little they used to goof in the garage with me. Didn't last long for them though.

1968 Super Stock Hemi Dart wheel well cut out Templates.

At last, we finally got these done. I have been asked to do these for several years and now they are complete. I have been following these cars for over thirty years and the question has always come up, “What shape did they use on the rear wheel cutouts?” The truth is back in the day there was a template, but the workers took “liberty’s” when cutting them out. There were at least two common versions used and this template has both of them are on this template

1. What you get is a complete template that has both the first and second generation of wheel well cut outs.

2. Complete 8 page set of instructions with illustrations that tells and shows you step by step on how to perform this procedure using simple tools.

3. List of “Helpful hints” that will help you complete this task.

You get all this for $85.00 plus $24.50 shipping anywhere in the lower 48 states. For other locations please contact me and I’ll figure out the shipping cost.

I prefer PayPal or money order. Thanks for looking.
