I'm finishing up with a big bolt patter conversion on my '67 Barracuda. I've got 15"x7" stock steel with what I believe to be a 4 1/2" back space. I'm looking at 235\60\15 tires since they are the closesed outer diameter to the stock tires which were 225\70\14. Anyone using a 235\60\15 on stock steels? Any rubbing problems up front?

Thanks for the input.

not true, a 235-60r15 will fit the front of a dart, not a duster, they just barly rub the back of the wheelwell on my duster and other than that they fit fine, so a dart with the different wheel well fits fine, but it looks like the cuda is about the same as a duster so they might rub,

krabbysniper has 245s all they way around on his 73 dart and they fit fine

all of this is with the stock 15x7 wheel- 4.5 inches of backspacing

also depends on you ride hight and torsion bars

I run 235/60-15 in the front of my 68 Barracuda. The 235 wouldn't fit with the ride height. I have 235's in the back with room to spare.

I ran 245-60-14s on the front of my Barracuda, Also had 205-70-15s, 215-60-15s and 215-70-15s. On the back I ran 255-60-15 and 275-60-15s bolth in the stock wheel well.

My friend ran a 235-60-15 on a 15X7" cop car rim on the front of his 73 Dart Sport and a 255-60-15 on the same rims on the back. I have also seen plenty of Duster/DartsSports/demons with 275-60-15s on the rear.

15X7" Cop car rims are 4.25" backspacing FYI.

MoparTeacher, so you have 235/60/15 on the FRONT of a '68 Barracuda? No rubbing issues? Would you happen to have a photo?
