What is the difference between the DART GT and the DART GT CHARGER? I just got a 65 DART GT faded yellow with black interior with a notch on each side of the rear valance under bumper. My buddy says its a DART GT CHARGER. Whats the difference between the two?

What's interesting on the resonator is that the only 65 four barrel Dart that I spent any time around had the standard tail pipe, but every original 66 and 67 273 four barrel car I have been around had the resonator. All 65 four barrel cars had the rectangular notch in the rear valence.

The badges were added to a very few west coast 65 Dart GT models with the Charger 273 (ALL 65-67 235hp 273 four barrel engine in Darts were known as the Charger 273). The cars with the badges also got 13" Cragar S/S wheels. There was only one notch on the valence on these cars.
Where did your car come from? Many years ago I knew a guy out of the Madera, CA area with a pale yellow 65 that was NOT badged. I have no idea where the car ended up.
