Any advice about getting the strud rod out other than tearing up the bushing in the K-frame? She won't budge out of there at the moment and I ran out of time to get creative.

 

Is the strut rod seized to the sleeve ?

 

Kind of what I'm thinking. I beat on the end with my hammer as a quick last ditch effort for the day yesterday with no luck. I don't have a blue tipped wrench at my disposal, so I was kind of wondering what else to try before I just break out the air hammer with a cutter bit or something along those lines. I suppose I try to soak it all down in PB Blaster before my next efforts.

 

the strut rods wont come out without moving the lca back...

 

make sure your t bar clips are out. loosen the nuts that hold the control arms in the k-frame. use a hammer and tap the control arms rearward...this will push the t-bars back and voila

 

This makes all the sense now. I havn't loosened the LCA yet. HA! I WAS rushing it a tad.
