Well I got out of in the garage for a couple hours and thought I'd start tearing the K-Frame out. I realize the downside to working on a 41 year old car. The ball joints were FIGHTING me not wanting to come out. It also looks like the torsion bars beat me, so I have to buy a removal tool.

Started out like....

Any advice about getting the strud rod out other than tearing up the bushing in the K-frame? She won't budge out of there at the moment and I ran out of time to get creative.

Kind of what I'm thinking. I beat on the end with my hammer as a quick last ditch effort for the day yesterday with no luck. I don't have a blue tipped wrench at my disposal, so I was kind of wondering what else to try before I just break out the air hammer with a cutter bit or something along those lines. I suppose I try to soak it all down in PB Blaster before my next efforts.
